The Hutt Exchange

This region of the galaxy is an autonomous section of the galaxy along the border between the Mid Rim and the Outer Rim Territories located to the Galactic East of the Core Worlds. It is under the control of the Hutt Clan faction and is largely noted as being a haven to the disreputable denizens of the Galaxy. It has managed to avoid Republic or Federation control by maintaining cooperation with the Trade Collective and the support of several worlds wishing to retain their independence. It is divided into sections ruled by separate Hutt Crime Lords that each own a planet. The most notable of these are Khiorra Tiure(Formerly Sleheyron - Has since fully transitioned to Kessel and Nar Haaska. Tiure is a major player in Starship production for the Outer Rim), Shazrim Besadii (Nar Shaddaa), and Drogatu Szugg (Nal Hutta). The Lonezhar Crime Family is not a member of the Big Three, though they’ve been trying to become a major player for a long time. Unfortunately, every world they’ve managed to acquire has turned out to be a bust without the infrastructure they needed to make it liveable (Ambria / Tatooine). An exiled Mandalorian Clan, Clan Priest, currently is known to work as mercenaries for Clan Tiure. A rising power in the Cartel is Grakkus Lonezhar, based out of Sleheyron since 357 R.C.
