Sullustan

From a harsh volcanic homeworld, the Sullustan species evolved in the planet's numerous caves. They prefer to dwell underground, constructing highly advanced cities of great beauty that wealthy tourists come from all over the galaxy to visit. The species is renowned for its acute senses, allowing them to be excellent navigators and pilots. When Republic Scouts first visited this homeworld only two hundred years ago, Sullustans quickly embraced galactic civilization. The Sullustan manufacturing Company SoroSuub has emerged as one of the largest non-human owned interstellar corporations in the Galaxy. It is so powerful that the company has become the official government of Sullust, and more than half the planet’s population is on its payroll. Sullust is technically a Republic world but it is no surprise that SoroSoub is aligned with the Trade Collective, leading many to question the species’ loyalties. During the Force War, Sullust was conquered by the Sith Empire and spent several years under Imperial Control before subsequent Peace Accords saw the planet freed and returned to the Republic.
