Ithorian

Ithorians are tall humanoids with appearances that lead many to refer to them colloquially as “Hammerheads”. They are well known as ecologists, working throughout the Galaxy to preserve the natural beauty of worlds torn by war. Their herds are often led by spiritual leaders that claim to be able to feel the force. Many profess that by healing these damaged planets, they are able to heal the Cosmic Force in the galaxy. In a sense, by doing good unto the Force, the Force will do good unto them. Their world, Ithor, is allied with the Kormani Federation, although the Ambria Conflict has shaken this alliance. An Ithorian spokesman named Fandomar was assassinated two decades ago after a failed attempt to heal the desert planet of Ambria. He helped to create a colony for the Vahla nomads. Unfortunately, Kormani regulations proved too stifling for the Vahla that caused instability in the whole sector. After a short planetary rebellion, the world won its freedom only to lose it to the Hutt Cartel the very same day.
