Devaronian

Devaronians have been spacefaring almost as long as the Duros. While many species exhibit physical differences between the genders, Devaronians evolved this to the extreme. Males of the species are hairless with red-tinted skin, sharp incisors, and horns while females are hornless and covered in thick fur that ranges in color from brown to white. In their homeworld of Devaron, female Devaronians occupy nearly every position of leadership. By temperament, males tend to be bold, daring, bull-headed, and terse. A deep wanderlust and a desire to master their own destinies leads nearly every Male Devaronian to leave their homeworld by middle age in pursuit of credits, adventure, and new experiences. This suits the females just fine as they are generally bright, scrupulous, sharp tongued, and find male Devaronians disruptive to order. Despite, or because of, these differences Devaronians culturally maintain very strong relationships - albeit often long distance.
